Hector Cash- Bolanos
I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, C.A. My father migrated from
the US to El Salvador when he was young. He grew up in a farm in Colorado,
and raised champion pigs. My mother was a modest cook who grew up in
El Salvador’s capital city.
My father died in 1992, and I moved to the United States and lived
in Hawaii. I moved to Oregon when I was 17 and attended Lane Community
College where I worked as a Spanish Master Tutor for many years. I
transfered to the University of Oregon and worked for 4J School District
after I finished my B.A. I worked as a Instructional Assistant Bilingual,
Campus Supervisor Assistant, and as an ELL Assistant. After three years
I decided to go back to school and earned a masters in education with
my endorsement in Social Studies. I have been teaching since 2006.
