DiLiberto
Mr. DiLiberto was born in Burbank, California and graduated from Burbank
High School. He attended Cal State Northridge in Los Angeles. He has
a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in English. He also
attended the University of Oregon, where he earned his Master’s
degree.
Mr. DiLiberto has been teaching in junior highs, high schools, and middle
schools since 1982. He has been teaching at Monroe Middle School since
1987. Mr. DiLiberto’s favorite grade to teach is the sixth grade
because he enjoys seeing kids get adjusted to the middle school routines.
He has had many memorable moments in his career but says the most memorable
point was being invited to the watch his first class of sixth graders
graduate from high school.
Mr. DiLiberto loves to listen to music. He plays several instruments,
including the saxophone. He plays on city volleyball and softball teams.
In his spare time, Mr. DiLiberto enjoys reading, seeing movies, and
traveling. Every summer, he plants a big garden. He likes to work in
it and enjoys using the food he harvests from it.
