Extra-Curricular Student Activities
School Socials
There are two school socials every school year. These events features a variety of activities designed for students to practice social skills and have fun while increasing their positive bonding to school. Activities may include such things as craft-making, games, and of course dancing while a live DJ spins tunes. We encourage all students to participate.
Noche Latina
A fun-filled annual fiesta fundraiser and get-together! It’s a great opportunity for families to get together, eat wonderful food and listen to music. The festivities include a live band and our students participate in the festivities by singing songs.
Talent Show

School Play
Every spring, the students prepare a school play. They are involved in all facets of the production – constructing the sets, make-up, costumes, production, stage hands and actors and actresses.
WEB Crew
Is a group of caring and committed 8th grade students who help our incoming 6h graders acclimate to middle school life. The WEB Crew goes through an extensive training process so they are prepared to be positive role models for our 6th graders and to help them with things like binder organization tips, lockers, tours, answer questions, etc. This is a great mentorship program where our 8th graders are learn leadership skills and our 6th graders have a smooth transition to middle school.

Student Council
Student Council assists in the planning of social, community and school
activities as well as proving input into decisions that affect the school
and the students.
Student Council meets approximately twice a month. Each block class chooses
a student representative and then other students are selected into at-large
positions. Student Council meets to consider school issues brought forward
by the students or the staff for consideration. This year the Student Council
organized our most successfully food drive in many years. They have also
brought forward proposals for an altered school schedule. Students must maintain
