Peace Jam Class Helps the Homeless
This term the Peace Jam class will be holding two fabulous events to help the homeless in our community.
- Friday 11/20 ( 7pm - 9pm) - Peace Jam dance at Monroe
- Saturday 11/21 (10am - 4pm) - Peace Jam Garage Sale at Monroe
By attending the events, you will be directly helping those in our community who need our help.
If you have items you wish to donate to the garage sale, please contact Linda Smart at 790-6300 or via e-mail at smart@4j.lane.edu.
Digital Classroom Fundraising
Amount Raised to Date: $3600
We are developing our new Digital Classroom and need your help! The Digital Classroom is a high-tech student workspace that will allow student to:
- gain hands-on software experience (desktop publishing, word docs, presentations & more)
- conduct research
- create, edit and publish written, audio & video projects
- use presentation technologies to teach what they have learned
- deepen their language learning, music theory and performance proficiency
If every Monroe family were to make a $40 tax-deductible donation, we would meet our goal of $23,000. Please give what you can. Each and every student will benefit from this classroom.
