Site Council
Site Council responsibilities include development & management of the School Improvement Plan, staff development funds and budget recommendations.
The Site Council is a decision-making body that help shape Monroe's future. 4J guidelines for membership require that Site Councils include individuals from various stakeholder groups: students, parents, principals, teachers, and classified staff.
All meetings are open and anyone in the community is welcome to attend as a visitor at any time. However, we ask that all regular members make a commitment to attend every meeting unless there are extenuating circumstances. Staff members who cannot attend should find a replacement to attend in their place.
If you would like more information, or if you can't make it to a Site Council meeting and would like to have your opinion presented at the meeting by a Site Council member, call the main office at 790-6300.
Monroe Parent Organization (MPO)
The goals of the Monroe Parent Organization (MPO) are:
to provide support for the events the group oversees
to make friends with our children's school community
to educate ourselves in the challenges & joys of raising healthy middle school students
The MPO is open to all parents and our goal is that each member choose one committee (or more, if you wish) and work on that one event.
